Deming's 14 points

I have read Deming's 14 points more than once, but every time I read I think it's so important to know that I wanted to include it right in the blog.

So, the 14 points you should know:
  • Create constancy of purpose towards improvement
  • Adopt the new philosophy
  • Cease dependency on inspection
  • End the practice of awarding business on the basis of price tags
  • Improve constantly and forever
  • Institute training on the job
  • Institute leadership
  • Drive out fear
  • Break down barriers between staff areas
  • Eliminate slogans, exhortations, and targets for the work force
  • Eliminate management by objectives
  • Remove barriers to pride of workmanship
  • Institute education and self-improvement
  • The transformation is everyone’s job
